Employee Spotlight: Pete makes labor management easy!

Meet Pete Vavalides, the most recent addition to our team. Pete has spent the better part of his career focused on the food service industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Tennessee but took a detour early on to focus on the food service industry as both an operator and a solution provider. He has an extensive background in workforce management (WFM) solutions, having managed, implemented, and sold WFM during various phases of his career. His interests include spending time with family, travel, photography, UT sports, discovering new restaurants, rugby, and cooking.

What’s your name? 

Pete Vavalides.

What do you do at TimeForge?

My primary responsibility is to provide valuable solutions to our customers and prospects.  Sales! 

How long have you been working with TimeForge?

Since mid-March 2021.

What’s your favorite part of working at TimeForge?

Being part of a great team that is genuinely concerned about its great customers and prospects.  

How do you make the lives of TimeForge customers better?

My operational and technical background helps me intimately understand our customers’ business challenges, thereby allowing me to deliver the best solutions to address those challenges.

What was your first hourly job?

I worked as an usher at a movie theater.  

What was your first restaurant or retail job?

I was a bartender during college at Regas on 17th.

What’s your favorite hobby?

I have a few, but if I have to pick one I will go with photography.  

What’s your favorite sports team?

It depends upon the sport – The University of Tennessee Volunteers for anything collegiate. The All Blacks for international rugby.  

Do you have any pets?

I do not.
