What’s your name?
Jackie Kafka
What do you do at TimeForge?
I work on marketing our product. This includes writing blogs, updating the social media, and creating tutorials and manuals that explain how the product works. Basically I get to research, learn, write, and create, which I enjoy.
How long have you been working with TimeForge?
Since February, 2013
What’s your favorite part of working at TimeForge?
So far I really enjoy the office environment. To me, the people you work with can go a long way to making a job more or less enjoyable. The people I work with are all nice and fun to be around, which creates a close-knit environment.
How do you make the lives of TimeForge customers better?
I’m learning how to do problem solving when something is going wrong on the customer’s end– we’ll get a phone call about a feature or how to set something up. Ensuring customers are able to do what they set out to do with the minimum amount of headache possible is a plus to being a costumer service based company.
What was your first hourly job?
Working at a CPA office taking care of filing, organizing, and other random tasks.
What was your first restaurant or retail job?
I worked at American Eagle Outfitters for about year.
What’s your favorite hobby?
Crafts. I love making things, whether it be a new sewing project or something I discovered on Pinterest. Right now I’m in a glass etching phase, etching glasses: wine glasses, champagne glasses, mugs. Pretty much any type of drinking glass.
What’s your favorite sports team?
Da….Bears
Do you have any pets?
A calico cat named Athena. She thinks she is a dog half the time, meeting me at the door when I get home and licking my hand or any inch of skin closest to her.
