Meet Mike. If you’ve been keeping up with our other employee spotlights this year, then you know that Mike, like the rest of us here at TimeForge, also wears a lot of hats! In addition to being a Support rockstar, he manages implementations for new customers and helps us build new reports for the things our customers most care about. He’s also authored some recent articles on optimizing store labor and how bid shifts help with fair workweek.

What’s your name?
What do you do at TimeForge?
My current role is managing implementations for new customers. I also work with Diego on the Support team and occasionally dabble in development on our reports and Biopad timeclocks.
How long have you been working with TimeForge?
I’ve been working with TimeForge for five years.
What’s your favorite part of working at TimeForge?
It’s gotta be our size and culture. We’re a smaller team and are all A players, and consequently, we all have a genuine, sizable impact on the product. It’s very fulfilling to be able to help steer and guide TimeForge in ways that make it better for our customers.
How do you make the lives of TimeForge customers better?
I work with customers directly every day and help find ways for TimeForge to make their lives easier. There’s nothing better than to walk a customer through a process in TimeForge that reduces their several hour task into just a few minutes.
What was your first hourly job?
My first hourly job was doing part-time clerical and handyman work for a family friend with a Chiropractic business.
What was your first restaurant or retail job?
I worked at Tractor Supply as a Team Member.
What’s your favorite hobby?
I’ve got a lot of hobbies, so it’s hard to pick just one. If I had to, it’d probably be gaming. It’s a great opportunity to take a break from your troubles and explore unique worlds.
What’s your favorite sports team?
I’m not a big sports fan, but since I’m from Georgia, I’ve gotta rep the Falcons, even if they throw away a 28-3 Super Bowl game.
Do you have any pets?
I do! I have a 3 year old Blue Heeler/Border Collie rescue and a 1 year old cat we found behind our house as a kitten. They both love to run around outdoors! Cute pictures below:
