Employee Spotlight: Daniel makes labor management easy!

Meet Daniel, a really smart dude. Daniel is a programmer for TimeForge and has been on the team since the very beginning. We’re pleased to shine a spotlight on Daniel this month because he does really amazing work behind the scenes. Some of his recent work involved fine-tuning our labor compliance and fair workweek features to handle difficult edge cases and complicated new logic. Keep reading to learn a bit more about Daniel and what he does here at TimeForge.

What’s your name?

Daniel Jorge Fernandez Terrazas.

What do you do at TimeForge?

Over the years I have done a bunch of different things inside of TimeForge, but now-a-days I focus more on the backend side, implementing all the requirements our customers need, having it properly done to meet their expectations.

How long have you been working with TimeForge?

Since TimeForge’s first days, more than 14 years ago.

What’s your favorite part of working at TimeForge?

Every day there is something new to work on, customers have several different needs, so I don’t get bored at all.

How do you make the lives of TimeForge customers better?

I do my best effort to deliver features that would be useful for our customers, properly done and well tested.

What was your first hourly job?

It was TimeForge.

What was your first restaurant or retail job?

I didn’t “work” in any of such jobs, but I did help in my mom’s grocery store. But wasn’t paid at all, lol.

What’s your favorite hobby?

I love to travel and know new places, that’s how I enjoy my life.

What’s your favorite sports team?

It is “Aurora”, a soccer team from my beautiful city.

Do you have any pets?

I have a cat named Wilson and a green parrot named Lori. They just came to visit and never left.
